Yes this is on a frozen pond used for Hockey... Yes we had to ride on the ice and the Continental Nordic Spike Tires Performed perfect! If your going to ride in snow and ice these tires are a must!

On the dock outside Discovery World
Man, oh man...I have some studded tires, and I HAD been using them ever since the first snowfall. So why did I go out on the icy roads on December 23, 2012 with my slick-shoed race bike and proceeded to break a hip? Because I was NOT THINKING! :(
